Cubist Pharmaceuticals, Inc., in collaboration with the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS) School of Pharmacy in Worcester/Manchester, offers two, two-year post-PharmD fellowship programs. These fellowship programs are designed to offer Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) graduates an in-depth experience in a biopharmaceutical industry setting. In addition to the industry component, the fellows will be appointed as adjunct assistant professors and will have the opportunity to teach, develop, and coordinate classes at MCPHS.
The fellow will personify the clinical, scientific, and technical face for Cubist to both external customers and internal colleagues. Opportunities may include participation in clinical research, support of sales and marketing functions, review of promotional materials, competitive intelligence, and acting as a scientific liaison with researchers and opinion leaders.
Overall, this two-year fellowship program will provide the training and experiences necessary to prepare PharmDs for a career in the competitive pharmaceutical industry in areas such as Clinical Research, Clinical Operations, and Medical Affairs. The fellow will also gain experience useful for other disciplines, such as Regulatory Affairs and Business Development. For information about the program, please click here.
