Intern Testimonial
Catherine Nuccio
Research Associate, Discovery Chemistry Department
Summer Intern 2010
“Cubist’s internship program opened my eyes. I had worked in a lab at school, so I had a strong foundation of knowledge and the hands-on skills I needed to work here as a synthetic chemist. But as a Cubist intern, I gained tremendous practical experience and met incredible people. My mentors were invaluable, and the programs gave me a true understanding of what it’s like to pursue this profession.
I enjoyed doing such meaningful work as an intern, but the number one reason I wanted to come back to Cubist is the culture. People here love what they do, and it shows.”

Government Affairs Graduate Student
Internship Program
In addition to our Lexington, MA based internships and co-ops, our program offers an excellent opportunity in our Washington, DC based Government Affairs Department. Graduate students in the areas of law, government, and health policy spend one to two semesters experiencing first-hand what government affairs strategy looks like as part of our dynamic, collaborative, and innovative Government Affairs team. As Cubist’s first structured graduate student internship program, Cubist has hosted 7 students since 2009 who have made significant contributions to the organization.
Intern Testimonial
John Zoshak, Esq.
Government Affairs Intern 2011-2012
“Cubist’s Government Affairs graduate internship program prepared me extensively for the position I hold now — I certainly would not have been hired had it not been for my time at Cubist. A year of hands-on experience with the legislative process, and having the flexibility to continue with law school full time, really jump-started my career. It’s not an exaggeration to say without Cubist I would not be where I am today.”
