Mark Battaglini, J.D. has served as our Vice President, Government Affairs, since October 2007. Prior to joining Cubist, Mr. Battaglini worked at Amylin Pharmaceuticals as senior director of government affairs and public policy. In this role, he was responsible for establishing, directing, and coordinating programs and activities of the company involving Congress and various departments and agencies of the federal government as well as state advocacy and legislative efforts. Mr. Battaglini started his career with Schering-Plough after serving in the U.S. Navy. Mr. Battaglini is a former Brookings Institute Congressional Fellow. He received a B.S. in Management from Boston College. He also holds a J.D. from Seton Hall School of Law, and he is a member of the New Jersey and Federal Bar.
